MAGGIE CARDELÚS

Her work confronts memory through photographic installations, where she centres the history of the family. She is an international artist and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brescia. Her latest works have been exhibited in Russia, Japan, Spain and United States.

“In the process of creating our fabrics we have taken into account all the people who helped creating them. Not only those who produced the image to be printed, but also the people who conceived the project, the people who established Miroglio, the people who process the images and ensure pattern repeatability, the people at the print-shop. We liked the idea of this fabric being the sum of several minds, which we wanted to acknowledge.”
